Kcom’s Leased Lines are part of our TotalE ConnectedTM range of ethernet services for resellers. As the market demand for leased line circuits continues to grow, Kcom’s Leased Lines offer our Channel Partners the ability to provide resilient, secure and flexible leased line access. They are supported by our national network infrastructure (reaching 95% of all business users), industry leading service levels and backed up our technical support teams. You are therefore able to offer leased line circuits which will meet the requirements and needs of your customers.

Our Leased Lines are white labelled which gives resellers the ability to integrate the service within their value added solutions but also support the development of their own branded leased line services.  They are delivered using our UK nationwide network infrastructure.  Channel Partners are able to take advantage of the growth opportunities for leased line circuits with the confidence that they can meet current and future customer requirements.

  1. Product Overview

Kcom’s Leased Lines offer you a range of service options to support your customers’ needs for lease line circuits.  These include the following access options:

  • Ethernet First Mile (EFM): this service uses a copper pair to deliver internet access up maximum to 10Mb.  This service is ideal for supporting point to point or meshed services which cannot be supported by DSL services. 
  • Ethernet Fibre: this service provides fibre access using options for 10Mb, 100Mb, 1Gb and 40Gb bearer circuits.

In addition to the above service options Kcom DIA can be configured as:

  • Uncontended Leased Lines: This service is fully uncontended and symmetric with network latency guarantees so that you can offer Leased Line services which will allow end users to use VoIP, telepresence and thin client services.
  • Contended Leased Lines: (10Mb and 100Mb only) These are symmetric services, contended at a ratio of 5:1 (no network latency guarantees). 

Both the Uncontended and Contend Leased Line services have full service level agreements, these are 24 hours for EFM and 4 hours for Ethernet. Both services are monitored continuously by our National Operational Centre (NOC).
